Olympia Harbor Days and The Seafarer Collective Present:
INTRO TO WORKING ON THE WATER
Have you ever been interested in a maritime career? Curious about what a day in the life looks like onboard a working vessel?
Olympia Harbor Days and The Seafarer Collective invite you to join us for a 90-minute youth-focused introductory workshop to learn more about the exciting professional opportunities on the water today, and share resources that will prepare participants for entry-level positions in the industry. This event will provide an overview of the types of vessels that mariners can work onboard, potential career pathways to explore, and the skills needed to be successful in the workplace. Participants will be invited to tour the Steamer Virginia V at the conclusion of the workshop and are encouraged to explore the other vessels that will be present at Olympia Harbor Days.
